چکیده
Background: A two-year field study was conducted at the ICRISAT research farm during rainy seasons of 2021 and 2022 to investigate impact crop geometry, establishment method sustainable nutrient management practices on availability pattern growth hybrid pigeon pea. Methods: The experiment followed a split-split plot design. collected data analysed using radar graph heat maps for dry matter respectively. Result: Data revealing that transplanted plots registered higher proportionate root total production various stages. Among plant geometry with 100×100 cm. when considering planting methods, transplanting square system cm, combined an integrated approach consisting 150% (or) 100% soil test based NPK, vermicompost rate 5 t ha-1, phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) seed treatment Rhizobium, resulted in average 31.5% over alone inorganic practices. Thus, along (100% PSB Rhizobium), production. These findings highlight importance careful selection maximizing mining high pigeonpea.

Corn yield and yield stability under varying nutrient management, crop rotation, and rainfall
Long-term yield performance and yield stability of common cropping systems needs to be simultaneously assessed at various fertility regimes. Based on a consecutive 19-year field trial, including eight fertilization treatments with different combinations of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K) and recycled manure (RM), the effects of fertilization and crop rotation on corn (Zea mays L.) y...

Maize productivity and nutrient use efficiency in Western Kenya as affected by soil type and crop management
Low soil fertility and high weed infestation are the main culprits for the declining maize production inWestern Kenya. Technology packages to address these constraints exist, but their effectiveness is likely to be influenced by variability in soil types and farm management practices in the region. Trials were conducted during the 2008/2009 cropping seasons to investigate the nutrient use e...
متن کاملEffects of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi on Growth and Nutrient Uptake of Apple Rootstocks in Calcareous Soil
The effects of three Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) species (Glomus versiforme, Claroideoglomus etunicatum and Rhizophagus intraradices) were studied on the growth parameters and nutrient uptake of three apple rootstocks (M.9, M.7 and MM.106). The soil medium contained a high level of calcium carbonate (38.65%). The results showed that AMF inoculation could increase almost all growth parame...
متن کاملEffect of Integrated Water-Nutrient Management Strategies on Soil Erosion Mediated Nutrient Loss and Crop Productivity in Cabo Verde Drylands
Soil erosion, runoff and related nutrient losses are a big risk for soil fertility in Cabo Verde drylands. In 2012, field trials were conducted in two agro-ecological zones to evaluate the effects of selected techniques of soil-water management combined with organic amendments (T1: compost/manure + soil surfactant; T2: compost/animal or green manure + pigeon-pea hedges + soil surfactant; T3: co...
